I am the mother of minor, 13 year old boy (name withheld by editor). While aboard the Inspiration (Carnival Cruise Line) my son who was checked into the teen club by my husband was attacked by 3 to 4 young adults.
He was stangled, jumped on various parts of his body to steal his wallet which contained a $100.00 bill and his ship I.D. card which was later found
where he was attacked.
He has since been to the Emergency room for X-Rays of his left arm, neck and back. He sustained two injuries to the neck and one injury to left arm, he still is under medical attention for this incident.
He has nightmares of the attack as so do I . I feel thankful that he is still alive and was not thrown of the ship by these animals who attacked him.
He will also need to speak to a therapist about is ordeal. My message is to let parents know that their children are not safe on these cruise lines and my hope is for no one else to have to deal with what I am going threw.
