Women Attacked By Bed Bugs Aboard Star Princess Out Of Seattle
Roberta Rosenthal shares with Cruise Bruise that while she was aboard Princess Cruises, Star Princess, she and a friend were eaten up by bed bugs.
Rosenthal, 59, of New York, says that she embarked out of Seattle, Washington on what was suppose to be a relaxing, enjoyable cruise and instead she discovered she had bed bug bites while in the shower.
The itchy passenger embarked out of Seattle on Sunday September 20, 2009 for a one day cruise to finish off the Alaska/Canadian cruise season, before the ship head to the South Pacific for the winter.
They left at 1600 hours on Sunday out of Seattle and arrived at Vancouver at 0730 hours on Monday morning.
From there the ship sailed to San Francisco, then on to Hawaii. Star Princess will be next in California on November 22 to begin a repositioning to South America via Mexico and Central America.
With the ship heading out to service the south pacific and South American nations, it is highly unlikely will hear any more about these bed bugs.
