Christopher Chapman was a Carnival Cruise Lines voyage aboard the Carnival Conquest, when he says he was attacked in a nightclub, by another passengers wielding a metal baton.

Chapman says the man seemed to be alone, was watching his group, then suddenly came at them, for no apparent reason,  beating three members of the group.

Reports say that Chapman had blood streaming from his head, from a wound that required 20 stitches. The pain from the injury was so intense that Chapman wanted to disembark from the ship in Jamaica.

When Conquest docked in Jamaica, the captain put the attacker off the ship there.

Chapman's group had been on a 7 day cruise out of Galveston, Texas to the Western Caribbean. They had left on April 6 and arrived back in port on April 13.

The incident took place while the ship was at sea during the first leg of the voyage, with Jamaica the first stop. The ship called at  Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico.

The rest of the voyage was no fun for Chapman. Krystal Chapman says they wanted to fly home from Jamaica. The Chapmans don't say why they were unable to return immediately. But, Christopher does say she will never cruise again.
