Cruise Bruise Investigates
World's Most Adventurous Squad Contest

Cruise Bruise Investigates Trevor Martin. We came upon Trevor Martin on Youtube. He does a lot of gaming and creates video tutorials for the games and their levels, for others to elevate their gaming. His followers are mostly kids, teens and young adults, and he has a lot of them. More recently, he has also been doing vlogs for the travels he and his girlfriend embark upon. Martin identifies himself on Linkedin, as Owner & CEO at TmarTn Enterprises in Orlando, Florida, since Jun 2011. That said, he has also had gigs for social media promotions for other companies.

Martin's Linkedin profile and Instgram Profile tell us quite a bit about who is and what he does, "I started my career on YouTube with two channels focused on gaming and technology. Over the years, while still maintaining an underlying focus on gaming, they have grown to become more personality driven. I have done everything from daily vlogs and vacation videos to behind the scenes at the XGames, to my newest hit series: a weekly video detailing the life and growth of my golden retriever puppy Cooper. Between my two channels (TmarTn and TmarTn2), I currently have ~4,000,000 subscribers and 800 million video views. I currently average around 5,000 new subscribers and 1.35 million views per day."

Trev (Trevor Martin) and girlfriend Chels (Chelsea Kreiner) created their joint Youtube channel on February 21, 2016. They have 316,214 subscribers and their videos have been viewed 14,208,427 times as of May 31, 2017.

Basically, nearly all his gigs have been online marketing related. I discovered the couple via a video they posted in March, while watching that video, the couple explained they were auditioning for this contest. Ultimately, they were chosen to compete in Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines' cruise ship Harmony of the Seas World's Most Adventurous Squad Contest. The contest cruise sails to Labadee (Haiti), Falmouth (Jamaica) and Cozumel, Mexico.

What is the World's Most Adventurous Squad Contest? RCCL says, "Five squads. Seven days. One will be crowned." Watch the challenge winners set sail on Harmony of the Seas, 7 Night Western Caribbean cruise. The cruise ship will call at Labadee, Haiti; Falmouth, Jamaica; Cozumel, Mexico to compete for the title of the World’s Most Adventurous Squad. The prize is three cruises to anywhere in the world for the winner.

The question is, can the couple claim the grand prize? We think they can. The couple has the skill set, personality, style and animated personalities to woo Royal Caribbean judges, who in the end are looking for social media spokespersons who easily connected with tons of their followers to show them how fun a Royal Caribbean cruise can be for young people. On that note, the couple are more than qualified. I've been watching their videos for weeks and they are informative and highly entertaining.

However, Trevor makes a valid point early on. His expertise is in creating video. Neither he nor Chelsea have a strong expertise in photography. But, they have met the other couples and see at least one who has strong qualifications in photography. Since they are being graded by their photographs of the trip, it could rule them out.

Can their infectious excitement and swarm of followers push them to the finish line? We are following their journey on our Cruise Bruise Blog
