Brandon Ryan Woll, age 21 from St. Cloud was arrested and charged with
manufacturing an explosive device after a homemade pipe bomb was found in the westbound lanes of highway 417 about one mile west of John Young Parkway.
Also tied to the case is the detonation of a pipe bomb in a downtown Disneyworld trash can.
Brandon Ryan Woll, a server at the Swan and Dolphin Hotel at Walt Disney World. He admitting to placing the bomb.
It is believed that Woll was part of a group believed responsible for both bombs construction and placement.
An investigation was launched in July 2007 after sheriff's deputies responded to a pipe bomb explosion in a Downtown Disney trash bin.
"Further investigation has led us to believe that there were a number of suspects involved," Beary said. "One suspect, after questioning, led us to believe there were other devices made and discarded in Orange County."
Beary said both found explosives were powerful enough to kill someone.
According to an arrest report, Woll told investigators he put the bomb on the road.
