Naples News Online Article
On Cruise Bruise Is Incorrect
February 22, 2007
In an article about the experience of David and Martha Fitzgerald aboard the Carnival Liberty, Cruise Bruise was incorrectly identified as the website belonging to Ross A. Klein. This is the third time we have seen this in online print in recent months. So, we decided it was time to set the record straight.

While the Naples News accurately described our website, as a website "which is devoted to collecting stories on cruise mishaps", it is incorrect to identify the ownership as belonging to Ross A. Klein. The Klein website does not have a collection of stories, it has short summaries of events at sea, which are normally a paragraph or less.

When we saw the article today, we decided to take immediate action to correct this misconception, by signing up as a member, and posting a rebuttal below their story, Cruise ships cope with deaths on board By By[sic] ANNIE CORREAL, Columbia News Service, Thursday, February 22, 2007.

"I appreciate the mention of our website in this article, as reference to the hundreds of real cases we have posted on our website, along with vessel sanitation reports and over 160 videos created by passengers, crew members and the cruise lines.

However, Ross A. Klein has nothing to do with Cruise Bruise, at all.

CruiseBruise.com is the largest website, worldwide, devoted to archiving full case details of incidents related to cruises, including incidents that take place in ports of call. We are a partner of the International Cruise Victims organization, and recently launched a new website for them. As well, we now are performing maintenance for their site, in addition to maintaining our own websites.

Please correct your article to reflect this inaccurate information.

Thank you,
J Huggard
