James Joseph (Joe) Kilgallon was on a Norwegian Cruise Lines cruise aboard Norwegian Pearl with his wife Josephine Jo Kilgallon.
Norwegian Pearl called at Antigua on February 12, 2006. While there, the Kilgallon's booked a snorkeling excursion a long with a pair of their life long friends.
The group was snorkeling at Turner's Beach, located on the southern side of the island when the incident took place.
Kilgallon drowned during the excursion. He was taken to the local hospital, where an autopsy revealed he had one totally blocked artery and another was partially blocked.
