Hush-Hush, are two words to describe the M/V Giorgis grounding while on a one-day cruise.

The cruise ship was touring the island of Aegina, when the ship ran aground on a reef, and the crew was unable to free the vessel.
Mr Philip Guerrero was on the cruise when the ship hit the reef.

He tells Cruise Bruise, "While leaving the island the captain backed up onto a reef, grounding the ship.

All passengers had to eventually be taken off the ship and transported back to the pier, to be returned to Piraeus on a ferry."
Guerrero says that while the media was waiting on the shore when the passengers returned, and were doing interviews, there is no indication the story made the media.

Cruise Bruise was also unable to find any information on this accidental grounding.

Apparently damaging a precious reef and ending a cruise early after an accident is not news wothy, except to Cruise Bruise. Mr. Guerrero is stunned that there is no information on this enviromental tragedy.

Giorgis was traveling to Poros, Hydra, and Aegina on a one-day cruise.
