The Celebration went soft aground while entering Nassau, incurring an undetermined amount of damage to the starboard controllable pitch propeller of the vessel.

The accident resulting in a spill of 50 gallonx of lubrication oil from the vessel, into the waters off Nassau.

Coast Guard inspectors from Sector Jacksonville are scheduled to meet the Celebration out at sea.

Once Coast Guard inspectors board the Celebration, they will test the steering and propulsion systems for proper operation.

The Celebration will not be allowed to enter the port of Jacksonville, Florida until it has been deemed safe to operate by Coast Guard inspectors.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
