Cruise Bruise is an electronic only site, and as such we conduct all communications through the internet. This privacy policy governs the electronic  or non-electronic communication with Cruise Bruise, either by posting to the web, email, snail mail, phone, or fax. While you may chose to write me by snail mail, that contact does not circumvent the privacy policy. The privacy policy includes all communications, in any form. In addition, please be aware that since we do all our communications electronically,  any written snail mail communication you send me, may not reach me for three to six months, or more, as  I travel extensively, nor do I get much snail mail, and most frequently am not in one place long enough to  have my mail forwarded. I handle all the details of my life electronically, and am comfortable with that.  It is in your best interest to communicate with me electronically, for fastest response. Cruise Bruise reserves the right to modify our privacy policy, disclaimer and overall terms of service at any time without warning. It is the view of Cruise Bruise that it is the visitor's responsibility to check the terms of service, privacy policy, about, and disclaimer pages each time they arrive on any website that does not require an account in order to view content. Please check this site pages related to terms of service, privacy and disclaimer each time you visit. Not visiting the pages does not exempt you from compliance with our terms of service. If you don't want to visit the pages upon each visit, do not surf this site. Our terms of service, privacy, disclaimer pages and other informational pages  are found in links at the bottom of every page on this personal site.

Businesses - Governments And Their Employees Privacy Policy

This portion of the privacy policy covers cruise lines, airlines, travel agents, tour operators, attorneys, private detectives,  media, government leaders, government agencys including police departments and other businesses which may not be related to the cruise industry, but have an interest in a specific case or cases whether for business reasons or personal reasons, where the company or government agency is identified as the owner of the computer by our visitor tracking system, not by information added manually by the visitor when contacting us..

When a visitor arrives on our website, we have statistical programs that gather visitor statistics. Those facts include where  the visitor is located, the day and time they arrived, how long they stayed, how they found our site, what pages they visited on our site, how long they visted each page, and how often they come back. Visitors are identified by their IP address as well as city, state, and country.

If they came via a search engine result for some query they made, we know that too. These facts help us design a site that is targeted to the majority of our visitors and to update cases and as well as add new cases of major interest. In most cases, it ends there. We don't know the visitor's name, or home address. We don't need to know that information.  But, this is really not the case for all visitors.

There are some visitors who use their business computer to surf the web, and when they do that, it ties their visit to their employer, the employer's address and phone, when a technician sets up the computer to reflect the company name as the owner of the machine. We see that. That is how we know that the office of a certain country's president has been on our website numerous times. It also told us that a certain law firm visits our website often, checking up on another lawyer who is involved in one of our major cases. We know which cruise lines are on our site, and how often. We know which government offices on our website, and which cases are of interest to them.

I want to caution all employers and employees, using employer's computer systems, that their statistics stand out in our statistics, and any and all of those statistics can, and will be posted on this website where Cruise Bruise determines, that the posting of such information is a benefit to our visitors and their research. If you do not want that information posted, do not use your company computer and do not submit a contact related to a complaint for your company. Do your research from home, where you are protected under of our Personal Users Privacy Policy, see below. Effective September 1, 2006, Cruise Bruise will begin posting these business visitors statistics to our site, that are gathered from September 1, 2006 and later.

We reserve the right to posts those statistics that include employer identified computers and to post the statistics of specific dates, times and pages those companies and/or their employees visited. We are a news gathering website, and our visitor statistics are very much apart of the cruise news.

If you, the business owner, business employee acting behalf of the company or government employee choose to submit content or contacts through our contact form, direct email,  letters to the editor, or case submission forms, we may publish your name, company name, website address, phone number, street address as well as the entire content of the information you submitted, or information we aquired by other means as a follow-up to your contact, and/or any portion thereof.
