    Asbert Lowmans, Jean Louis, Esias Felicien, Kevin John and Jamaican Alfred Dennison (known as “uncle”) were arrested in a Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Norwegian Dawn drug sting which included the seizure of 4.75 kilograms of cocaine by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at the cruise ship terminal in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The incident was recorded by the ship's security video on day 9 of a 14 Night cruise.

    Carnival Dream Toddler Poisoned By Jamaica Necklace. Audrey had a fever with drooling and was taken to the cruise ship infirmary for treatment. When the cruise ship docked the next day in San Juan, Puerto Rico Gandy took her daughter to a hospital in port. She says tests confirmed the child had been poisoned by a crab's eye necklace.

The incident allegedly took place when the Indian supervisor was lecturing the Jamaican chef on an employee issue. The Jamaican chef reportedly lost his temper after yet another lecture and lunged at his boss with a butcher knife stabbing him in the abdomen.

The Coast Guard said the boy had been in the water for eight to 10 minutes before he was found and was without oxygen for 18 minutes.

    Diogenes Carpio and Ben Buenaventura crew deaths in Norwegian Breakaway lifeboat accident. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's cruise ship Harmony of the Seas experienced a lifeboat malfunction during a safety drill while docket at Marseille, France. The lifeboat became detached, falling a distance of 33 feet (10 meters) from deck 5 into the sea.

(Princess) has agreed to plead guilty to seven felony charges stemming from its deliberate pollution of the seas and intentional acts to cover it up. Princess will pay a $40 million penalty– the largest-ever criminal penalty involving deliberate vessel pollution – and plead guilty to charges related to illegal dumping of oil contaminated waste from the Caribbean Princess cruise ship.
