Grandeur of the Seas
Cruise Passenger Death Bermuda

Baltimore Cruise Ship Docked at Kings Wharf August 20, 2016

On Saturday, August 20, 2016, around 1:40 in the afternoon, a male cruise ship passenger, 45, was found dead in his cruise ship cabin aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Grandeur of the Seas.

Grandeur of the Seas was docked at Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda when the passenger was found deceased on the second day of the cruise.

This cruise ship death follows another tragic cruise ship death in Bermuda, exactly one month ago, when crew member Diogenes Carpio, 41, from the Philippines was killed during a Norwegian Breakaway lifeboat safety drill at Heritage Wharf in Dockyard.

Grandeur Of The Seas departed Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday, August 18, 2016 for a 9-Night Bermuda & Bahamas cruise. The cruise ship arrived at Kings Wharf in Bermuda on August 20, with calls scheduled at Nassau, Bahamas and Coco Cay, Bahamas before returning to Baltimore on Saturday August 27, 2016.
